The rationale of the Stoic training

In this essay, Nigel Glassborow distinguishes between 'aretê' and 'virtue' within Stoicism, and their relationship to 'eudaimonia'. He concludes that Stoic rationale tells us that to a great extent 'aretê' and 'eudaimonia' have little to do with what the Stoic is really aiming for.
