ὁ δὲ κόσμος ἀξιολόγους ἀναδέχεται μεταβολάς, ὁτὲ μὲν κρυμαλέου τοῦ περιέχοντος γινομένου, ὁτὲ δὲ ἀλεεινοῦ, καὶ ὁτὲ μὲν αὐχμώδους, ὁτὲ δὲ νοτεροῦ, ὁτὲ δὲ ἄλλως πως κατὰ τὰς τῶν οὐρανίων κινήσεις ἑτεροιουμένου. οὐ τοίνυν ὑπὸ ψιλῆς ἕξεως ὁ κόσμος συνέχεται.
