Origins, practices, and debates
Freud proposes a method of listening and a conflictual model of psychic life. Jung breaks with him and develops other accounts of symbol, the unconscious, and individuation. Their texts belong to a modern clinical and intellectual history, with its debates and revisions.
The library relates them to ancient questions without treating them as equivalents. A lexical resemblance among soul, desire, and the unconscious does not establish conceptual identity.
