Against the Ethicists, Book XI of Against the Learned Section 26

καθ’ ἕτερον δὲ τὸ καθ’ ὃ συμβαίνει ὠφελεῖσθαι· οὕτως οὐ μόνον αἱ ἀρεταὶ λεχθήσονται ἀγαθά, ἀλλὰ καὶ αἱ κατ’ αὐτὰς πράξεις, εἴπερ καὶ κατὰ ταύτας συμβαίνει ὡφελεῖσθαι.

In another sense, good is that in accordance with which benefit happens to be received. In this way not only the virtues will be called good, but also actions in accordance with them, since benefit happens to be received through these actions too.

En un deuxième sens, est bien ce conformément à quoi il arrive qu’on reçoive une utilité. Ainsi, non seulement les vertus seront appelées des biens, mais aussi les actions qui leur sont conformes, puisque c’est également conformément à elles qu’il arrive qu’on reçoive une utilité.
