Τὰ μὲν οὖν λεγόμενα εἰς τὸ μὴ εἶναι ἀπόδειξιν τοιαῦτά τινα καθέστηκεν· σκοπῶμεν δὲ καὶ τὸν ἀντικείμενον λόγον. οἴονται γὰρ οἱ δογματικοὶ [λόγοι] τῶν τὸν ἀξιοῦντα μὴ εἶναι ἀπόδειξιν αὐτὸν ὑφ’ αὑτοῦ περιτρέπεσθαι, καὶ δι’ ὧν ἀναιρεῖ ταύτην, διὰ τούτων αὐτὴν τὴν ὁρίζειν. ὅθεν καὶ ἀντικαθιστάμενοι τοῖς σκεπτικοῖς φασίν· ‟ὁ ὁ λέγων μηδὲν εἶναι ἀπόδειξιν ἤτοι ψιλῇ καὶ ἀναποδείκτῳ χρώμενος φάσει λέγει μηθὲν ὑπάρχειν ἀπόδειξιν, ἢ λόγῳ τὸ τοιοῦτον ἀποδεικνύς.
