τὸ γὰρ σῶμα τοῦ σώματος οὐκ ἂν εἴη αἴτιον, ἐπείπερ ἢ ἀγένητόν ἐστι τὸ τοιοῦτον σῶμα καθάπερ ἡ κατ Ἐπίκουρον ἄτομος, ἢ γενητὸν ὡς ἔθος, καὶ ἢ φανερὸν ὡς σίδηρος καὶ πῦρ, ἤ ἀφανὲς ὧς ἄτομος. ὅ τι δ’ ἂν ᾖ τούτων, οὐδὲν δύναται ποιεῖν.
